Classrooms and Staff
The Carpinteria Children’s Project directly operates a state-funded preschool for three and four-year-olds and five parent fee-based classrooms, subsidized with scholarships when possible and appropriate, for children three months through kindergarten age.
All of our classrooms participate in the Quality Rating and Improvement System managed by First 5 of Santa Barbara, and we are proud of our ratings.
Our most significant current professional development effort is running a pilot dual language program. We are working closely with consultant and expert in dual language instruction, Dr. Carola Oliva-Olson, and UCSB.
